Before you consider becoming involved in our training programme please be aware that Instinctive Golf Coaching is not simply for professional coaches. IGC is for anyone committed to the game and helping others. Coaches embark on our training programmes simply as part of their own self-development and, currently, IGC does not offer jobs to qualified coaches.

Instinctive Golf Coaching and its coaches are totally committed to moving golf coaching away from the super-technical, super-analytical culture which ultimately failed them as both players and as coaches. Unfortunately an all too common theme that runs through our amazing family of coaches is that they found their chosen vocation, for which they had so much passion, had become simply a 'job'!

As a team we are moving golf coaching towards exploration, inspiration, discovery, fun, freedom and learning!

At IGC...

• We do not believe in split-screens and comparisons!
• We do not believe telling is teaching!
• We do not believe in coaches who are not committed to 'walking-their-talk' and growing their own games as well as their coaching!

Instinctive Golf Coaching Summits

At Instinctive Golf Coaching we believe that being a truly effective coach goes way beyond having an in-depth technical knowledge of the golf swing. Coaches that attend our summits join the ever growing band of like-minded people who are totally committed to being the best they can and making a difference!

During the summits, IGC Master Coaches Paul Affleck and Paul Eales along with Founder Kendal McWade will share their coaching and playing experiences and give you the tools to help integrate the knowledge you already posses have with your pupil’s innate instinct to learn.

Our summits are a mixture of presentation, clinics, live coaching sessions and 'instinctive' work on your own game.

We believe that only through our own exploration can we truly understand the challenges our pupil’s face. Only through our willingness to look outside the culture of logic and conventionality can we discover how to be the best!

The Route Ahead

There are 3 levels for a person to achieve to become a fully-fledged coach:

Level 1 Instinctive Golf Practitioner

Level 2 Instinctive Golf Master Practitioner

Level 3 Instinctive Golf Coach

To achieve these levels, coaches must attend three 4-day coaching summits over a minimum period of 12 months. These summits are held throughout each year at various locations and give all interested parties plenty of opportunities to progress through the different levels.
